	About Extended Care
	Welcome to Extended Care! We are excited to welcome back our returning families and look forward to getting to know the new ones. We are anticipating a great year! To better accommodate our families varied work schedules, we have added a 3-day a week package and removed the limit on the number of days you may "drop-in" Please take a few minutes to get familiar with our enrollment options and guidelines. The extended care program offers Morning Care from 7 am to 7:45am, Afternoon care from 3 pm to 6 pm, and a combination of both. You may attend on a full-time, 3-day, or drop-in basis. Also, we are available on most non-school days at an additional charge. The fee schedules are listed with each option. (Each family enrolled in full-time or 3-day a week care will be required to pay the registration fee of $25.00) **Families will not be accepted into the 2006-2007 Extended Care Program if they have any unpaid Extended Care fees from previous years. Delinquencies are subject to having your enrollment held until fees are brought current. If the Extended Care fees become delinquent more than two months, Extended Care services will no longer be available for your child(ren). 	About Mrs. Liddiard Extended Care Director 302-4250 ext. 118
	Mrs. Liddiard has been a parishioner of St. Eugene's church for 6 years and has worked for the school going on 5 years. She began as a teaching assistant for the P-4 classes. She has been the Extended Care Director going on two years. She is married and has a 6 year old daughter, who also attends school here. She has an associates degree in American Sign Language and enjoys signing whenever possible. She is continuing her education at U.C.O, working on a Special Education degree.

	Before School Care
	The Nursery room wil be opened for Before Care at 7:00 am daily. Please, sign your child in each day. If you arrive after 7:30 am, please escort your child(ren) into the gym located on the South side of the church and East of the school. Breakfast is served daily at 7:30 am. If interested a combination breakfast/lunch ticket may be purchased from the cafeteria. **If your child arrives before 7:45 am, it is necessary to walk them into the Nursery room/gym and sign them in. 	After School Care
	Enrolling your child(ren) in the Extended Care program will give you the peace of mind knowing they are in a safe and nurturing environment. The children, depending on their age group, will be escorted from the classroom to either the Nursery or gym and placed in our care after classes are dismissed, where we will take attendance and serve a snack. We will be keeping the children very busy this year with lots of fun activities and hope to engage the children in a positive, nurturing way. The different age groups are divided as follows: The first group is Pre-school 3, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. The second group is the First and Second graders and will also include the Third through Eighth graders who do not need the Study Hall program or perhaps have completed his or her homework prior to parent pick up. The third group is Third through Eighth graders who will participate in our Study hall program. You will receive more information concerning this program during the first week of school. 	Full-Time Enrollment
	Full-time enrollment will allow you to use our Extended Care Services, based on the option you chose, each day school is in session. We have three options you can choose from. Please see below for details. 	3-Days Enrollment
	This option will allow you to choose any three days you need to attend (please indicate which three days you will be attending on the enrollment form). Again, you may choose morning, afternoon care, or both. Please see below for details. 	Drop-In Enrollment
	This option may be used on as "as needed" basis for morning or afternoon care. There is not a limit to how many times you may drop in. However, if you need our service more than 7 times a month, it is more economical to enroll in a 3-day a week package. Please see below for details. 	Full-Day Care Enrollment
	This service is available on most days that school is not in session. On these days, care is offered from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, and activities as well as provide additional staffing. The fee schedule is as follows: For students enrolled in Extended Care - $10.00 per child, per day For students NOT enrolled in Extended Care - $25.00 per child, per day Please see the Extended Care Calendar for school dismissal and follow these days closely for when we are available. 	Rules & Guidelines
	Each adult and child is to treat each other with respect. The children are to keep hands and feet to themselves at ALL times. We expect the children to follow the rules & guidelines set forth in the student handbook concerning their behavior and conduct. The school reserves the right to determine in its discretion, when conduct is of such a severe nature as to warrant immediate action without a warning and/or could lead to dismissal from our program. Our goal is to not have conduct problems. We all know how things can sometimes happen, and for the benefit of everyone, we hope to keep this to a minimum. Pick-Up We ask that the parents pick up the child(ren) instead of siblings unless it is at your specific request and an arrangement has been made by you in writing and is on file. We also ask that you list the other people other than yourself authorized for pick up on the enrollment form. Should someone need to pick up your child(ren) other than yourself, please send a note or call the Extended Care office at 751-7115 Ext. 118. Parents need to sign their child(ren) out each afternoon when picking them up. We ask that you please observe this rule.

	We will be open from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm daily on the days listed below: September 21, 2006 - Parent Teacher Conference Day September 22, 2006 - Fall Professional Day October 20, 2006 - Fall Break December 21st, 27th, 28th, 29th, 2006 - 2006 Christmas Break January 2, 2007 - Christmas/New Year's Break January 15, 2007 - Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday January 19, 2007 - Spring Professional Day February 16, 2007 - Parent Teacher Conference Day February 19, 2007 - Spring Professional Day March 19th-23rd, 2007 - 2007 Spring Break May 4, 2007 - Teacher In-Service Please note: we will have a sign up list for those wanting to attend these days. If less than 10 students are signed up to attend, we will be closed. If it is necessary to be closed, sufficient notice will be given so that alternate arrangements can be made. To cover breakfast, lunch, snack, activities, and extra staffing, these days are offered at an additional cost: $10.00 per day, per child for thos students enrolled in our program, and $25.00 per day, per child for those NOT enrolled in our program. Remember we will NOT be open on the following dates: September 4, 2006 - Labor Day November 22nd, 23rd, & 24th, 2006 - Thanksgiving Holiday December 22nd & 26th, 2006 - Christmas Holiday January 1, 2007 - New Year's Day April 6, 2007 - Good Friday April 9, 2007 - Easter Monday
