Daily Student Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures

Please Note
If you have BOTH P3 – Kindergarten AND 1^st – 8^th grade students, follow the drop-off & pick-up procedures for the HEFNER LOT.

Courtesy Counts
If for some reason the morning or afternoon drop-off and pick-up lines are running slow, please do not honk your horn or pull out of established car-pool lanes. Please exit the lot to Greystone Ave., not to Hefner Ave. St. Eugene School’s drop-off and pick-up procedures are established for your safety as well as the safety of all our students. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Use the HEFNER LOT for P3 – Kindergarten Students

Morning Drop-off

Enter lot from the west end and park in designated parking spaces. Do not park in the Fire Lane. Bring all your students, P3 through 8th grade, to the gym (or to Before Care if prior to 7:45 a.m.).

Afternoon Pick-up

Dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. Park your vehicle and walk into the Early Childhood building to meet your students and escort them back to your vehicle.
Dismissal locations:
- Pre-School (P3): in Mrs. Emerson's classroom.
- Pre-Kindergarten (P4): in the Gymnasium.
- Kindergarten – 8th grade: in the Gymnasium.

Use the GREYSTONE LOT for 1^st – 8^th Grade Students

Morning Drop-off

Enter from Greystone Ave. and form a counter-clockwise single loop in the Faculty Lot. Do not park in the Faculty Lot. Drive all the way through the west bend in the Faculty Lot and stop in front of the doors to the school before letting your student out of your vehicle. Have your student ready to exit your vehicle at this time.
Students exit to the sidewalk bordering the school and then walk to the doors to the gym (or to Before Care if prior to 7:45 a.m.). Exit out to Greystone Ave., not to Hefner Ave.
If you or your grade 1–8 student(s) need extra time to achieve a smooth morning drop-off, please park in the Playground Lot south of the Faculty Lot instead of going through the drop-off line.

Afternoon Pick-up

Enter from Greystone Ave. and form a counter-clockwise double loop in the Playground Lot. Teachers will help students into cars from along the sidewalk. Proceed out to Greystone Ave.
Students will not be allowed to cross the parking lots through traffic.
In order for us to allow a student to walk home, a permission slip must be on file in the school office. Students who are walking home will be allowed to leave after carpool lanes clear at 3:15 p.m.
