7th-8th Grade

7th and 8th grade AcBo teams (considered Mid Level in the OAAC) will compete in person for the 2021-22 season, with possibility of playing online as well (pending outcome of in person competition).
7th and 8th grade in-person is a playoff series culminating in a championship. All schools play District and Regional. The next tournament would be either the Area, Firebird or Phoenix – determined by how your team performs in District and Regional.

District - November 1 through November 30
Regional - Mid Level November 29 through December 17
Firebird - Mid Level January 4 through 15
Area - Mid Level January 22 through Feb 12
Phoenix - tbd - After Regional
2022 Mid Level Challenge of the Champions - February 26

The fee to participate is $25 per student, which will be billed through FACTS incidental accounts. This helps cover the cost of registration. No child will be turned away if they cannot pay the fee. Please contact Kim Hattaway for options.

Registration for 7th & 8th grade teams closes Sept. 15th,

Please contact Mrs. Hattaway if you are interested in coaching a team. Each team will need 1-2 coaches to schedule and run practices (beginning in mid-Oct). You may practice with the school buzzers using materials available from www.oaac.org.
4th-6th Grade

4th-6th grade teams (considered Elementary/Upper Elementary in the OAAC) will compete only in the online tournaments for the 2021-22 season.

An Online Tournament is a team event. There is no limit to the size of the team. Team membership may change from one subject area to the next. Online team tournaments begin in November. There are 5 of them:

Language Arts & Science - To be completed between Nov. 8 - Dec. 17; scores final on December 22.
Humanities/Fine Arts - To be completed between Jan. 10 - Feb. 4; scores final on February 11.
Social Studies - To be completed between Jan. 10 - Feb. 11; scores final on February 18.
Mathematics - To be completed between Jan. 10 - Feb. 18; scores final on February 25
