SALT - Serve. Appreciate. Love. Teach. This service program highlights the “oneness” of our faith and serves as a powerful example to students of the importance of all adults actively serving others throughout our lives. Over time, we hope the program will:

• cultivate within students an appreciation for the gifts God gives us;

• foster responsibility for using those gifts;

• enhance the foundation for self-reflection and a strong prayer life within each student;

• provide hands-on experiences that are meaningful, memorable and inspiring;

• serve as a powerful sign of Christ’s love in the greater community; and

• empower and encourage CSSE graduates to continue serving others throughout their lives.

To accomplish these goals, the program is structured with each grade level focused on a single topic to allow for more diverse learning through all grades.
